How soon is too soon to hire a wedding planner?

The answer depends on what you need the wedding planner to do.

• If you are interested in complete planning services, then it is best to hire 12-18 months in advance.


• If you are going to do some of the planning yourself, then you can wait to hire a planner to do the parts you are unable to do yourself.


• If you only want a wedding planner for the rehearsal and day of your wedding, you can wait until 3-4 months before your wedding.
