Being a bridesmaid requires an emotional and a financial investment. You need to be there to help the bride BEFORE she becomes bridezilla. You have to be supportive but don't have to be spineless. You have to buy dresses for the engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding. I can't mention the dresses and not remind you that the bridesmaids are supposed to host the bridal shower and bachelorette party.

So before you say yes, be sure you are prepared to commit your time, energy, heart, and purse.
