Wedding Basics: Guest Book

Position your guest book on a table near the ceremony entrance so your guests can sign it as they arrive. After the ceremony, the guest book should follow the wedding guests to the reception site. This will allow guests to sign it after the ceremony if they didn't have an opportunity earlier.

Its a good idea to assign a "guest book attendant" to keep track of the book and invite guests to sign it. This can be a younger sibling or relative who is not a member of the wedding party.
