40th Birthday Party (June 9, 2007)
Thanks to the professionals who helped me with this event:

In addition to the elements in these pics, we had chocolate sports car favors in blue chinese food boxes. This celebrated the birthday boy's love of fancy sports cars and Karate. An artist drew a portrait of the guest of honor which was matted and framed. The mat for the portrait doubled as the guest sign-in board. We created 2 photo collages to highlight the birthday boy's 40 years. He loves candy, so we created a candy station with gumballs, Bit O Honey, Sugar Daddies, "old school" hard candy, and Blow Pops. In addition to the balloon sculpture and cake topper, the number 40 was also displayed on a banner over the dance floor, on the champagne bottles, and on the bar napkins.
The top and bottom layers represent his membership as a mason. The middle layer represents a karate gee and "Happy Birthday" in Japanese.
